The memorial garden stone, in two designs. Both are genuine 5mm black slate with a naturally chiseled edge, printed on one side with your pet's name, their dates and a few words of your choosing. The difference is the artwork. The photo slate prints their actual picture in full colour, cut out and set inside a painted wreath of wildflowers — warm, and unmistakably them. The illustrated slate turns the same picture into a fine line portrait in white on bare stone, with nothing else on the face — quieter, and closer to the look of engraving. Same three round sizes from 3.9″ to 7.8″, same price, same stand options: a foldable easel stand, a low-profile plate stand, or set it straight onto soil.

The custom pet photo pillow is cut around your pet's own outline and printed on both sides, so it looks right from any angle on a couch or a bed. Four sizes from 15.7″ to 27.6″, and the size follows their pose — a lying pet runs wider, a sitting pet taller.

Which stone for which photo

If the photo you love is bright and sharp and their markings are the thing you'd miss, take the photo slate — colour is the whole point of it. If the picture is older, softer or shot in poor light, the illustration handles it better, because a line portrait is drawn rather than reproduced. Either way, send me the photo before you decide and I'll tell you which one it will suit.

They're also different kinds of keepsake from the pillow. A stone is a marker: a place to put flowers, somewhere to look when you pass it. The pillow is the one people hold.

Choosing a photo

A bright, well-lit picture with their whole body visible works best across all three. Older phone photos usually print fine; if you're unsure whether the one you have is sharp enough, send it before ordering and I'll tell you honestly rather than print something that disappoints.

How it's made

Everything is made to order. You'll upload the photo when you order, and I build the design by hand from it — no template, no automated cut-out. For either stone, I email you a proof before it goes to production, and you get two rounds of changes at no extra cost; if we can't get it to a place you love, you get a full refund. There's no rush on my end: if you need time to choose the picture, take it.

If you're buying this for someone else

A memorial gift lands differently from flowers — it says the pet's name out loud, and it's still there in a month. Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day in late August and National Pet Memorial Day in mid-September are the two dates people most often mark, but there's no wrong time.
