P3 Planner

A private, self-hosted tool that Little Mood Shop uses to schedule organic pins and research content trends for the Pinterest business profiles it owns and operates.

What it does

P3 Planner helps us plan and publish our own content more consistently. It lets us draft pins, schedule them to our own boards for future publishing, and review account-level analytics and trend signals so we can create pins that better serve our audience. It connects to Pinterest to do this; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pinterest.

First-party use only. P3 Planner is an internal tool operated by Little Mood Shop for accounts that we own. It is not a public product, it has no external end users, and it only ever acts on our own authorized accounts.

How it uses the Pinterest API

P3 Planner connects through the official Pinterest API. Access is granted by the account owner through Pinterest’s standard OAuth authorization flow — we never handle Pinterest passwords. Typical permissions we request:

  • boards:read List the boards on our own profiles so pins can be scheduled to the right place.
  • boards:write Create or organize boards on our own profiles.
  • pins:read Review our existing pins and their performance.
  • pins:write Create and schedule new organic pins on our own boards.
  • user_accounts:read Read basic account and analytics information for our own profiles.

All access is limited to the profiles we authorize, and it can be revoked at any time from the connected-apps settings of the relevant account.
