Some dogs hear a blender and immediately assume it is their business. These Green Goodness Treats are for that dog — the one who supervises the kitchen, sniffs every ingredient, and expects payment for emotional labor.
Made with spinach, curly parsley, egg, and coconut flour, these little green bites are crunchy, fresh, and easy to make. They’re not a medical “detox” treat, but they are a fun homemade snack when you want something colorful and simple.
Ingredients
1/2 cup spinach
1 tablespoon curly parsley
1 egg
1 cup coconut flour
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Blend spinach, curly parsley, and egg until smooth.
Add coconut flour and mix until a dough forms.
Mold into small bite-sized pieces.
Bake 12–15 minutes, or until firm and dry.
Cool completely before serving.
Safety note
Use curly parsley only and keep it occasional; AKC notes that dogs can eat curly parsley in moderation, while other parsley varieties may be risky. Spinach should also be occasional because it contains oxalic acid. Eggs should be fully cooked, and treats should be fed in moderation.
If you want those rules to live somewhere more permanent than your memory, a personalized safe-food fridge magnetkeeps the "never feed this" list exactly where you'll see it — right before you reach for the garlic powder.
A little green, a little crunchy, and absolutely supervised by your dog.
