Frozen Banana Applesauce Dog Bites

Frozen Banana Applesauce Dog Bites

These are sweet, creamy little freezer treats for dogs who love banana. I’d use them when the weather is warm but I still want the recipe to feel gentle and simple.

Ingredients:
1 ripe banana, 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1/2 cup plain yogurt.

Steps:
Mash banana in a bowl. Stir in applesauce and yogurt until smooth. Spoon into silicone molds or an ice cube tray. Freeze for 3–4 hours. Serve one small bite at a time.

Storage:
Store in a covered freezer-safe container for up to 1 month.

Dog-safety notes:
Use unsweetened applesauce and plain yogurt. Avoid added sugar, xylitol, cinnamon-heavy blends, and artificial sweeteners.

When to use this treat:
Summer enrichment, post-walk cool down, or a soft frozen snack for small dogs.
