Crunchy frozen carrot sticks with a light broth-and-coconut coating for warm days.

This is the kind of treat I’d make when I want something refreshing but still simple. Carrots are easy to prep, easy to hold, and perfect for dogs who like a little crunch.

Ingredients:
1 cup peeled carrot sticks, 1/2 cup low-sodium dog-safe bone broth, 1 tsp coconut oil.

Steps:
Peel and cut carrots into dog-safe sticks. Warm the broth slightly and stir in coconut oil. Dip or toss carrots in the mixture. Place on parchment paper and freeze for 3–4 hours.

Storage:
Keep frozen in a freezer-safe bag or airtight container for up to 1 month.

Dog-safety notes:
Use low-sodium broth with no onion, garlic, seasoning, or artificial flavors. Cut carrots to your dog’s size and supervise chewing.

When to use this treat:
Hot afternoons, teething puppies, supervised chew time, or backyard enrichment.
