Chicken & Sweet Potato Dog Treats

If you've made our Sweet Potato Dog Chews before, you already know this dog's opinion on sweet potato. Add shredded chicken to the mix and you've got a treat that gets the full-body wag, not just the polite tail-thump.

What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup cooked, mashed sweet potato (plain, no added sugar or butter)
  • 1/2 cup cooked, shredded chicken breast
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1 large egg

How to Make Chicken & Sweet Potato Dog Treats

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the mashed sweet potato, shredded chicken, oat flour, and egg in a bowl until a soft dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough to about 1/4 inch thick on a lightly floured surface, then cut into shapes.
  4. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18-22 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
  5. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

How Long Do These Treats Last?

Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.
