Blueberry Bliss Soft Bites for Senior Dogs

Some treats are made for crunch. These are made for the dogs who prefer a softer snack, a slower chew, and a little extra fussing over.

These Blueberry Bliss Soft Bites are simple, colorful, and gentle enough for dogs who prefer a softer texture. They’re made with blueberries, plain yogurt, and oat flour, then baked just long enough to hold their shape.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
  • 1 cup oat flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Blend blueberries and plain yogurt until smooth.
  3. Add oat flour and mix into a soft dough.
  4. Scoop small bites onto a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake 10–12 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely before serving.

Safety note

Use plain unsweetened yogurt only, with no xylitol or artificial sweeteners. Blueberries are dog-safe in moderation, and xylitol is dangerous for dogs, including in some baked goods and “sugar-free” products.

If you want those rules to live somewhere more permanent than your memory, a personalized safe-food fridge magnet keeps the "never feed this" list exactly where you'll see it — right before you reach for the garlic powder.

Soft, sweet, and made for dogs who deserve a gentle little treat.
